Les sansouires sont des milieux naturels à végétation basse situés en bordure haute des vasières littorales, soit la partie haute des marais maritimes. Ce terme est employé en France méridionale (Camargue, Languedoc et Corse).

Salt marshes (or schorres) are natural environments with low vegetation bordering the high coastal mudflats, or the upper part of tidal marshes. This term is used in southern France (Camargue, Languedoc and Corsica).
