Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Built in the early 20th Century as an annex building for the adjacent Buffalo State Hospital, this three-story Renaissance Revival-style building features a red brick exterior, hipped roof, corbeling at the eaves, replacement windows, stone trim, and a front entrance facing Forest Avenue with a stone surround with a blind arch above the door. The building was renovated in the 2010s, adding additional space to the third floor and adding a hipped roof to the entire width of the building, with portions of the building formerly only two stories in height originally having a low-slope roof with a parapet, and new sections of the building being clad in EIFS to differentiate it from the older sections of the building. The building is a contributing structure in the Richardson Olmsted Complex, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
