| Description |
English: Mardol Head, Shrewsbury This view looks from the top of Mardol to Mardol Head which is the street leading off to the left. However, Darwin Gate - the public artwork in the foreground - is usually described as being on Mardol Head. A group of teenagers are taking little notice of the curious sculpture above their heads, which was designed by Renn and Thacker Partnership and unveiled in 2004; unsurprisingly, it proved a controversial addition to the townscape. |
