DescriptionMardi Gras CanalSt 1910 panorama.jpg |
New Orleans Mardi Gras on Canal Street, 1910. View is set to look like a 360 degree panorama; note it is actually two photos of the same side of the street taken a short time apart put together (the joint being at the pole in the center). View shows Canal Street in front of the new (second, built the previous year) Maison Blanche Building, with parade floats seen on the downriver side of the street. No other vehicle traffic on the street. Crowds of pedestrians, some in costume. |
