| Description |
English: March shed, near to March, Cambridgeshire, Great Britain.
March was once a railway town with a locomotive shed and large railway yards. The old shed is long gone but used to stand back from the road. Many different locomotives were stabled here and an average weekend in the early 1980s it would not have been uncommon to find about 40 locos stabled here. In steam days it would have been far more. |
