Français : Maquette du marché de Surabaya en papier mâché réalisée avant 1850, à une époque où cette ville indonésienne, sur l'île de Java, comptait parmi les colonies hollandaises. On y remarque un colon occidental dont la taille semble avoir été exagérée. La maquette rend également compte de la forte densité de population de la ville et de son cosmopolitisme.
