Summary

[edit]
Description La Gyalo! (May the deities prevail!) is a sort of joyful shout one can hear in the Himalayas when a traveler has reached a high pass. At Marang La (also called Chogo La) we reached the highest altitude during our trek (4 320m). The view on the Annapurna range was absolutely gorgeous. One of the last gifts of the gods before the end of the trek, since we were now on our way back. One day by foot from Lo Manthang to Tsarang, then another day by jeep to do all the way down to Jomsom.
