| Description |
English: Ces photographies ont été prises après le naufrage du pétrolier Erika, survenu au large de la Bretagne, le 12 décembre 1999.
On y observe une plage de la pointe Saint-Gildas, souillée par des nappes d'hydrocarbures. Le sable et les rochers en sont entièrement recouverts, sur une très grande surface. Des personnes, équipées de vêtements de protection, nettoient la plage, en retirant les plaques de pétrole au moyen de pelles, dont le contenu est ensuite déposé dans de très nombreuses poubelles. On constate aussi la présence d'un tractopelle. |
