Description
English: Photograph (black and white); cabinet card; a studio portrait of three Mapuche women and three Mapuche children against a painted background of an outdoor scene; the women and children wear variously trarilonko (hair lace/headgear), quipan ( a square cloth, wrapped around the body), trarihue (waistband) ikulla (shawl), and tupu (clothes pin); two of the women are kneeling, engaged in processing foodstuffs, the third women stands next to a tree trunk holding one of the children; Traiguen, Chile.
