Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Mappleton South Beach, Mappleton, East Riding of Yorkshire, England.
Remains of a World War Two concrete pillbox on the beach south of Mappleton. The structure would have been built on dry land but rapid coastal erosion has left it some 80 metres from the bottom of the cliff and often completely submerged below the North Sea.
