中文:臺灣已經協助史國進行鄉村電力化,成功讓史國電力覆蓋率達82%,臺灣現在轉協助另一重要基礎建設,要為史國偏鄉地區興建飲用水及衛生系統。
史國代總理Themba Masuku與梁大使在12月16日共同主持,Maphungwane-Lukhetseniup地區偏鄉飲用水及衛生系統建設計畫第1階段的啟動典禮,將建造10公里長之輸水管道,預計將嘉惠450戶家庭2,700名居民。
English: Taiwan assisted Eswatini in electrification of rural areas, successfully making Eswatini electricity coverage rate reach 82%. Currently Taiwan is turning to another important infrastructure, to construct potable water supply scheme for rural areas of Eswatini.

H.E. Amb. Liang was honored to join Hon. Acting Prime Minister Themba Masuku, Minister of Labour & Social Security Phila Buthelezi as they launched the E21 million Maphungwane – Lukhetseni potable water supply scheme.
This project is to benefit 450 homesteads which is estimated to be 2,700 individuals. Masuku appreciated Taiwan for funding and the technical support. Phrase 1 of the project was worth E4.26 million and would be completed in the next five months.

With Taiwan’s great help, the Kingdom is now one step closer to achieving the nation’s vision of 100 percent portable water access to all Emaswati by the year 2030.
