English: A tribe woman of the Maasai erecting a shelter known as a manyatta from the ground.This is one of the many roles of women in this tribe.Did you know the Maasai tribesmen do not burry their dead because it is believed the dead has fullfiled their journey on earth so instead they smear the body with domestic animal blood and live it in the wild to be eaten by carnivores.
