Description
Español: 3-3-2018 - D. Ricardo Blázquez, presidió la Eucaristía en el último día del Triduo a Marías de los Sagrarios en la Basílica Santuario de la Gran Promesa de Valladolid

Como recordó D Ricardo Blázquez en su homilía, S. Manuel González fue cinco años obispo de Palencia, además de fundador de la obra de las Tres Marías de los Sagrarios abandonados y de los Discípulos de Juan “con el propósito de acompañar a Jesucristo en la Eucaristía y reparar la soledad en que se encuentran muchos sagrarios”.

“Unía calvario y sagrario. Desde la Eucaristía ve la Cruz del Señor en la que Él entregó su vida para nuestro bien. En ella manifestó hasta dónde llegaba su amor por nosotros”, apostilló nuestro arzobispo.

Su personalidad fue inconmensurable como sacerdote, obispo, fundador, catequista, escritor y heraldo y misionero de la Eucaristía. En Palencia le sobreviene su última enfermedad. Fallece en Madrid, en 1940. Lo sepultan en la preciosa Catedral palentina, en la Capilla del Santísimo, en donde hasta hoy reposan sus restos mortales bajo la inscripción sepulcral que él mismo dictó.
