esign of any structure are made, arecord of the changes should be reported to the head office and therecord plans should be at once brought up to date. (c) Division officers having in charge the maintenance of bridgesshould keep on file in their offices blue prints of the general and detailplans of all structures, and these prints should be furnished from theoffice of the Chief Engineer or other officer in charge of the designs. (d) Photographs of the record tracings of bridges should be pre-pared and furnished to division or other officers for use in the field.These photographic copies should be of standard sizes and kept inatlas form. (e) The record of the condition of bridges should be kept inaccordance with the system indicated by the recommended forms M.
