The family of Pinks are unrivaled for brilliancy and rich variety of color; the plants are bushy, of symmetrical form—blooming so profusely as to almostuninterruptedly cover the plants until late in autumn, rendering them one of the most beautiful and satisfactory of all annuals for summer flower gardens ; theyalso make very beautiful pot plants. Height, about 1 foot. DOUBLE ANNUAL DIANTHUS. Chinensis fl. pi., Mixed Colors. Double China or Indian Pink. lft..Plct. 5 Heddewigii fl. pi., Mixed Colors. Double Japan Pink, large flowers.(See cut.) 5 Dwarf Copper-red.
