| Description |
English: Mansom This little plantation is known as "Mansom" - why I know not. According to the 1:50000 map it is an isolated circular wood, but this is not in fact the case. The 1:25000 map shows that not only does the circle have an offshoot to the north, but it is almost adjoined by another little (but slightly larger) plantation to the south. This photo was taken from the footpath that leads roughly southeast out of Mentmore hugging the field boundary. |
