English: Manor Farm near Hillesden Manor Farm lies at end of an unclassified road that runs east off the C road between Buckingham and Edgcott. From Manor Farm, a footpath runs east to the village of Hillesden about a 1km away. There is a photo of Manor Farm in the English Heritage records from sometime in the period 1896 to 1920 http://viewfinder.english-heritage.org.uk/search/reference.asp?index=985&main_query=&theme=&period=&county=&district=&place_name=Ham&imageUID=84927, and a photo of a small derelict post mill in the fields of Manor Farm from 1935 http://viewfinder.english-heritage.org.uk/search/reference.asp?index=973&imageUID=16749&main_query=&theme=&period=&county=&district=&place_name=Ham. Church Hill Farm which is south of Hillesden, can be seen to the right on the hill in the distance. |
