Español: La barranca de Manila o Malinaltenango como coloquialmente es conocida, es un cañón que surge en el paraje conocido como "Puente de los Sabinos" y que conjuga con más cuerpos de agua en la zona conocida como "Las Juntas" en los limites del Estado de México y Guerrero. En lo que corresponde al trayecto de esta formación natural en territorio del municipio de Zacualpan, son aproximadamente 21.4 Kms.
A la altura del Pueblo de Malinaltenango existen aun los vestigios del que fuera el Camino Real a Zacualpan, aun se conservan empedrados y un majestuoso puente sobre el Rio. Naturalmente se aprecia este lugar como una zona poco frecuentada por humanos y muy inaccesible, esto mismo hace pensar que el nivel de conservación ambiental es alto. |
