Description
Deutsch: Fragment (Vorderseite) eines römischen Schienenarmschutzes (manica), der bei Xanten am Standort des Kastells Till-Steincheshof in den Jahren 2010/2011 ausgegraben wurde. Der aus 21 Messingschienen bestehende Armpanzer wird in die Zeit um die Wende vom 1. (letztes Drittel) zum 2. Jahrhundert (erstes Drittel) datiert. Der seltene, archäologisch bedeutende Fund befindet sich in Privatbesitz und wird im LVR - Römer Museum Xanten ausgestellt.
