Description And this is the real Mc Coy. This is my first sighting of a live Mangrove Snake. Mangrove snakes are mildly toxic and though it can cause discomfort, the venom is not fatal to humans. I'd good deep into the mangroves in Sri Lanka in 2010 and at Uncle Tan's in Sandakan (E. Malaysia) just a couple of days earlier, but fortunately did not encounter any of these suckers in the wild.
