"Tieffenbrticker (Tiefembrucker), Vendelino Venere. Is supposed to have been a son of Leonardo Tieffenbriicker, according to the inscriptions found in some of his lutes. Worked from about 1572 to 1611; his lutes were celebrated. ..."

"Another branch of the Tieffenbrucker family settled in Padua, including Vendelio Venere, who has recently been discovered to be Wendelin Tieffenbrucker, son of Leonardo Tieffenbrucker (see Kiraly, 1994 and 1995). ...
