English: Ex-L&Y 0-6-0 runs westward at Manchester Victoria. View westward, towards Exchange Station, Salford etc. from the long Platform 11/3 connecting with Victoria Station. Aspinall Class 27 3F No. 52270 (built c. 1895, withdrawn 1/61) is probably returning from banking a train up to Miles Platting. (Note the other 'train-spotters' (left) on this very busy Summer Saturday). |
