| Description |
Taken this morning (Sunday 4th September) for the Project 365 Group/5th Anniversary of my joining Flickr. In the guise of Northern Counties-built (GM Standard) Leyland Atlantean, new to Greater Manchester Transport in May 1982 as 8508 and renumbered 4508 in the GM Buses fleet. It's preserved in the 1991 GM Buses livery though depicts it's working life from around late 1993/early 1994 when GM Buses were split into North and South and at that time was based at Queens Road. Seen heading down the small lane that takes you into the very heart of Heaton Park |
