Summary
[edit]DescriptionMan Kam Plaza - Asiatown Cleveland.jpg |
English: Man Kam Plaze, located at 1735 E. 36th Street in Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States. The business is typical of those found in Asiatown, the Asian enclave in Cleveland.
The structure was built as the Tabor Ice Cream plant in 1915. In 1919, the Telling-Belle Vernon Milk Co. bought out Tabor, taking control of the building. National Dairy Products absorbed Telling-Belle Vernon in 1928, and operated the plant until at least 1949. The structure was purchased by Chinese community investors in 2002. The 13,000 square foot structure has warehouse, grocery, and restaurant space. |
