Description
English: Twin Lakes at Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, California, U.S.A. Here is a frozen and snowy version. By the lake are Tamarack Lodge & Resort, a general store, a picnic area, etc. The general store, the picnic area, etc. and parts of the scenic roads in the area are closed during winter and much of the area is used for cross-country skiing.
日本語: アメリカ合衆国カリフォルニア州マンモスレイクス（町名）のスキーリゾート、マンモス山の麓にあるツインレイクス。この湖は冬季はこのように凍る。湖の東岸にはタマラック・ロッジ&リゾートというレストラン兼宿泊施設の他、ジェネラル・ストアやピクニック・エリアがある。夏場には釣りやボート乗りも楽しめる。”ジェネラル・ストア”とは、アメリカのキャンプ場付近などによくあるコンビニのような店で、簡易食料品、懐中電灯、トランプ、地図、薪などが置いてある。ツインレイクスのジェネラル・ストアにはシャワー施設もある。ただし、冬場には閉店している。周辺の車道やピクニック・エリアなども冬場は閉鎖され、クロスカントリー・スキーに利用される。
