Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This 16 th century AD Raghunatha temple is one of the living temples in Hampi ruins on a medium-sized hill called Malayavanta Parvatha on the main road between Hospet and Hampi and 2 Km from Kamalapura. This is one of the spatha (seven) hills of this region. This hill has globe/round-shaped boulders and natural caves. The roads to this temple are really narrow. The temple is in ruined state. Legend says that this is the place where Lord Rama and his brother Lakshmana had sought shelter during monsoon on his expedition to find his wife the Goddess Seeta.
