| Description |
English: Malpas sub post office, Newport Located at 371 Malpas Road, at the northern end of a row of shops at the top of the long climb up from junction 26 of the M4 motorway. Photo taken on a mid-December day that had begun foggy and was no better than misty when the photo was taken at 2.15 pm.
Internally refurbished in autumn 2009, the post office is noticeable in being the only property in the row to retain the orangish tiles used to roof the properties when built in the 1930s. On the left is an example of the darker tiles now on the other properties. |
