Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This makara from Candi Vishnu is fashioned as a rainspout, most appropriately since the makara is a quintessential water animal, composed of the parts of various water-loving animals such as the fish, crocodile, elephant, water-snake, etc. In this photo, a small directional guardian sits just above the makara.
