Description
English: Makahiki Ho'okupu by Juliette May Fraser, 1938, charcoal and Conté crayon over parchment-colored oil-painted base on the rough side of 13 Masonite panels, 8.5 x 51 feet. Commissioned by the Hawaii Exposition Committee of the Hawaii Tourist Bureau for the lobby of the Territory of Hawaii Building at the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition in San Francisco. Now installed in lobby of the Hamilton Library, University of Hawaii at Manoa.
