Description
Français : Edme Jean Leclaire, (1801-1872), autodidacte et chef d'entreprise, engagé dans le catholicisme social. Il fut maire d'Herblay de 1865 à 1869.

Entrepreneur de peinture en bâtiments il fonde la « Maison Leclaire » en 1826, rue Bleue. L'entreprise emménagera plus tard à Vitry-sur-Seine, puis à Ivry.

Sur la façade, nous lisons: Cochi, frères sculpteurs, 1911 et Henri Bertrand, architecte 1911.
