English: Main Street railway station (site), Glasgow Opened in 1870 by the City of Glasgow Union Railway on the line from Springburn to Shields Road, this station closed in 1900 and was quickly demolished. View north east towards Gallowgate and St. Enochs. The station platforms were to the right of the blue railway bridge, which was built in 1900 following closure of the station.
