English: Maiden's Cleuch Pass. The path over Maiden's Cleuch from Balerno to Penicuik has been recently poorly restored and is uncomfortable to walk over. At the head of the pass between Harbour Hill and Bell Hill, is this old stile, next to a marker for the old Malleny Rifle Range, from the days when the MOD was more honestly named. |
