Description
English: A photo of Mahidol (1892–1929 CE), prince of Siam (now Thailand), son of Chulalongkorn, at the age of 5 years; extracted from page 2 of File:ประชุมพงศาวดาร (ภาค ๕๒) - ๒๔๗๒ a.pdf, which is Prachum phongsawadan phak thi hasip song ("Collection of Historical Archives, Vol 52"), published in 1929 CE. The original caption says:
"A photograph of HRH Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, the Prince of Songkhla, when he was still young; taken in 2440 BE (1897/98 CE), the Year of the Rooster, when he was 5 years of age."
(in Thai: "พระรูปสมเด็จเจ้าฟ้ามหิดลอดุลยเดช กรมขุนสงขลานครินทร เมื่อยังทรงพระเยาว์ ถ่ายเมื่อปีระกา พ.ศ. ๒๔๔๐ พระชันษา ๕").
