English: Maheshacharya (Sanskrit: महेशाचार्य) is a religious title used for the peethadhipati of Divyshakti Yogpeeth Akhara (which is known as 'Maheshwari Akhada' is famous). Maheshacharya is the supreme / highest Guru post of Maheshwari community. Presently Yogi Premsukhanand Maheshwari Maharaj is peethadhipati of the "Divyashakti Yogpeeth Akhara, the highest Gurupeeth of Maheshwari community, and hence he is "Maheshacharya". Yogi Premsukhanand Maheshwari is known not only as the Peethadhipati of Maheshwari Akhara and Maheshacharya but known also as the "patron" of Maheshwari community and Maheshwari culture; and he is also a researcher, writer and historian of the history of Maheshwari community. He is best known for his outstanding contributions to research on origin of Maheshwari community and ancient Maheshwari history.

Maheshacharya Yogi Premsukhanand Maheshwari has successfully conducted about 150 yoga and health camps across India. He has conducted several one day (one and a half hour) seminars on the role of Yoga in further enhancing the intelligence of the students, which has also benefited the students in keeping themselves stress free.

The main objective of all the activities of Maheshcharya Yogi Premsukhanand Maheshwari Maharaj is to bind the people of Maheshwari community living in different areas of India in the thread of unity, and to restore the community to the highest peak of glory by giving meaning to the basic principle of Maheshwari Samaj “Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah”. Yogi Premsukhanand Maheshwari is giving lectures on the subjects like conservation and promotion of Maheshwari culture, social unity, security and progress, Importance of health, stress free life, education and values, cow protection, women empowerment, concerns on environment etc. and their solutions. He is working through 'Divyshakti Yogpeeth Akhara (Maheshwari Akhada)' with the objectives of creating a well-educated, cultured, self-reliant society, protecting the values, securing the nation and its unity. Maheshacharya Yogi Premsukhanand Maheshwari is continuously working for the propagation of Sanatan Dharma and Maheshwari culture, and the revival of Maheshwari community.

Hindi: महेशाचार्य (English: Maheshacharya), यह माहेश्वरी समाज के सर्वोच्च गुरुपीठ "दिव्यशक्ति योगपीठ अखाड़ा (जो की 'माहेश्वरी अखाड़ा' के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है)" के आधिकारिक मुखिया के लिये प्रयोग की जाने वाली धार्मिक उपाधि है। "महेशाचार्य" माहेश्वरी समाज का सर्वोच्च गुरु पद है। वर्तमान में योगी प्रेमसुखानन्द माहेश्वरी महाराज माहेश्वरी समाज के सर्वोच्च गुरुपीठ "दिव्यशक्ति योगपीठ अखाड़ा" के पीठाधिपति हैं, इसलिए/अत: वे "महेशाचार्य" हैं। योगी प्रेमसुखानन्द माहेश्वरी ना केवल माहेश्वरी अखाड़े के पीठाधिपति और महेशाचार्य के रूप में माहेश्वरी समाज और माहेश्वरी संस्कृति के "संरक्षक" के रूप में जाने जाते हैं बल्कि वे माहेश्वरी समाज के इतिहास के एक शोधकर्ता, लेखक और इतिहासकार भी हैं। उन्हें माहेश्वरी समाज की उत्पत्ति और प्राचीन माहेश्वरी इतिहास पर शोध में उनके उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए भी जाना जाता है।

महेशाचार्य योगी प्रेमसुखानन्द माहेश्वरी ने भारतभर में लगभग 150 योग एवं स्वास्थ्य शिबिरों का सफलतापूर्वक सञ्चालन किया है। उन्होंने छात्रों / विद्यार्थियों की बुद्धिमत्ता को और अधिक निखारने में योग की भूमिका पर एक दिवसीय (देढ़ घंटा) के कई सेमिनार लिए है, जिससे छात्रों को खुदको तनावमुक्त रख सकने में भी लाभ मिला है।

प्रेमसुखानन्द माहेश्वरी महाराज के सभी गतिविधियों का मुख्य उद्देश्य भारत के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में बसनेवाले माहेश्वरी समाजजनों को एकता के सूत्र में बांधकर माहेश्वरी समाज के मूल सिद्धांत "सर्वे भवन्तु सुखिनः" को सार्थ करते हुए समाज को गौरव के सर्वोच्च शिखर पर पुनःस्थापित करना है। योगी प्रेमसुखानन्द माहेश्वरी महाराज माहेश्वरी संस्कृति के संरक्षण एवं संवर्धन, सामाजिक एकता, सुरक्षा एवं प्रगति, स्वास्थ्य का महत्व, तनावमुक्त जीवन, शिक्षा एवं संस्कार, गौ रक्षा, महिला सशक्तिकरण, पर्यावरण की चिंता आदि विषयों एवं उनके समाधान पर व्याख्यान देनेका कार्य कर रहे हैं। वह 'दिव्यशक्ति योगपीठ अखाड़ा (माहेश्वरी अखाड़ा)' के माध्यम से एक सुशिक्षित, सुसंस्कृत, आत्मनिर्भर समाज बनाने, मूल्यों की रक्षा करने, राष्ट्र और उसकी एकता को सुरक्षित रखने के उद्देश्य से काम कर रहे हैं। योगी प्रेमसुखानन्दजी लगातार सनातन धर्म और माहेश्वरी संस्कृति के प्रचार-प्रसार तथा माहेश्वरी समाज के पुनरुत्थान के लिए निरंतर कार्यरत हैं।
