Description
English: Pancha Rathas (Pandava Rathas), a monument complex of monolithic ancient Dravidian rock-cut architecture dating to 7th century AD. Each of the five monuments resembles a chariot (ratha), and each is carved out of a single monolithic granite rock. Ratha temples, monolithic chariots, cave temples, Shakti and Vaishna inscriptions, rock reliefs, bas-reliefs, stone-cut temples and more. Mahabalipuram, Mamallapuram, Tamil Nadu, India.
