English: Magna Via in the snow. The snow hides the track which descends Beacon Hill towards Halifax town centre. The was once the main route to Halifax from the east, being part of the Wakefield Gate, also known as the Magna Via or Alta Via. This section is currently recorded as public bridleway. |
