Description
English: The Madrona Gardens Theatre opened in 1924 with a seating capacity of 506. Despite its small size the theater housed a 2/5 Smith-Geneva organ. The theater was later renamed "The Madrona" and was closed and demolished in the 1950s. (Source: Cinema Treasures and Puget Sound Pipeline) A poster for the silent film Eve's Leaves starring Leatrice Joy (released in June 1926) can be seen in the theatre's entryway. PH Coll 1296
