English: Macmillan Way past Cole Manor House Cole is a hamlet between Bruton and Castle Cary on the Macmillan Way, a long distance path from Lincolnshire to Dorset. The path is set up to further the work of Macmillan Cancer Support, set up by Douglas Macmillan. Young Douglas went to school in Bruton and lived in Castle Cary so would have passed this location frequently. |
