| Description |
English: This is a sketch of a two-path Mach-Zehnder interferometer with the two input and output ports labeled. It is a modification of this image to (a) include the labels, (b) include the vacuum port 2, and (c) have for Delta\Phi=0 constructive interference in the output port 4, which is in my view the more common choice. |
