English: Macclesfield Canal, Lyme Green , Cheshire The Macclesfield Canal has every reason to claim that it is one of the most scenically beautiful of all the canals. A late starter in 1831, it boasts sixteen miles of superb lock free cruising north of the Bosley Locks, and another nine south of them. |
