Italiano: Il modello M40 della Olivetti apparve agli inizi degli anni '30 e rimase in produzione fino al termine della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Esistono diverse versioni di questa macchina, che si distinguono dal diverso modello del carrello portarullo. La M40 deriva dal perfezionamento del precedente modello M20 ed era particolarmente nota per la nitidezza di scrittura e la grande costanza dell'allineamento. Si tratta della seconda serie di M40 con la superficie zigrinata, prodotta tra il 1938 e il 1946. Questa macchina ha fatto parte del patrimonio strumentale del Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia "Leonardo da Vinci" fino alla decisione della sua rivalutazione come bene museale all'interno del patrimonio storico. |
