Description
English: This castle was built in the early 13th century by the Normans. It is now one of the oldest castles in Ireland still occupied by its original owners, the MacEgans. Redwood Castle is located in the heart of Ireland in North Tipperary where three provinces join, Munster, Connacht and Leinster, on the banks of the River Shannon. It opens to the public for guided tours during the summer months. http://www.redwoodcastleireland.com/
