  • Dansk: Tegningen er tidligere indgået i et album, der talte 135 Heemskerck-tegninger og 31 grafiske blade efter Heemskercks forlæg. Albummet omtales første gang i "Wolfens fortegnelse", ca. 1696/99, som "Geist- únd weltliche stücke von Martin Heemskercken, worúnter ein gút theil mit der feder gezeichnet" (nr. 20 i listen over "Eingebundene Kupferstücke") og igen i 1780’erne i Johannes Wiedevelts, "Catalogus over den nyere Kobbersamling og nogle Tegninger i det Kongelige Biblioteque" (Vol. 2. fol: oblong: Opfundne af Martino van Veen kaldet Hemskerk ....). Det opløste album indeholdte lyserøde/violette sider, og rester af disse farvede sider kan stadig ses på en del af de tegninger og grafiske blade, der indgik heri. 133 af tegningerne var forlæg for kobberstik og raderinger, de resterende to (KKSgb8153 og KKSgb5543) formentlig forstudier til malerier.

f.o.t.h. med pen og brunt blæk: "4"; med blyant under midten en latinsk tekst, som også indgår i kobberstikket, tegningen er forlæg for: "SACERDOTVM CONCILIO SISTVNTNR"; og f.n.t.h med blyant: "S.a" (sine anno).
Signeret og nummereret f.n.t.h. med pen og brunt blæk: "Martinus Van / Heemskerck / inVentor"; herfor t.h.: "4".
