Description
Čeština: MZA v Brně, fond A 3 Stavovské rukopisy, inv. č. 129, Kniha Jana z Pernštejna, 1466, malovaný obal, přední strana, erb pánů z Pernštejna. Na přední vnější straně obalu je erb pánů z Pernštejna: zubří hlava namalovaná hnědou barvou se zlatou houžví a červeným vyplazeným jazykem v stříbrném poli vpravo skloněného gotického štítu. Chlupy zubrovy srsti na hlavě a očí obrácené vpravo nahoru jsou zvýrazněny. Stínování zubrovy hlavy je posíleno použitím tmavěhnědé barvy. V levé části štítu je na něm posazena vpravo hledící uzavřená kovově modrá kolčí přilbice s nýty, přikrytá hnědo(černo)stříbrnými nesouměrnými přikryvadly rostlinných tvarů. Na přilbici je umístěn klenot, kterým je hnědá vlevo hledící vyrůstající zubří hlava se zlatou houžví a vyplazeným červeným jazykem. Srst je zvýrazněna podobným způsobem, jako je tomu u zubří hlavy ve štítě. Štít, přilbice, která je rovněž stínována, a přikryvadla jsou zvýrazněny černými obrysy. Nad klenotem je umístěn slabě čitelný letopočet: 1466.
