Deutsch: Das MUFACE® (Motor User interFACE) ist eine Steuerung für Schrittmotoren [1] und besteht aus 2 Komponenten: Eine Software- und eine Hardware-Einheit. Die erste MUFACE®-Software und grafische Benutzeroberfläche lief noch unter DOS. 1999 programmierte Adrian Perrig [2] ein komfortableres GUI in der Programmiersprache Java (Sun Microsystems Inc.). Diese, als JavaMotion bezeichnete Software, läuft in einer virtuellen, Microsoft Windows-basierten Java-Laufzeitumgebung. Von Anfang an stützt sich die Philosophie des MUFACE® aber auf ein Bedienkonzept mit möglichst einfacher Art und Weise der Programmierung von Sequenzen. Die MUFACE®-Software kommuniziert über eine serielle RS232-Schnittstelle mit der MUFACE®-Hardware (Foto). Diese kann ein Einschubmodul eines 19-Zoll-Rack-Systems sein. Dieses Modul wird dann über ein Steuerkabel mit den Signalen: Puls (Clock) Voll-/Halbschritt, Drehrichtung (CW/CCW) und Enable mit der Schrittmotor-Endstufe (Driver) verbunden.
Am 23.03 1993 verwendete den Begriff MUFACE das erste Mal als Abkürzung und Produkt die in Murten (Schweiz) eingetragene Einzelfirma Magnetron Labs Merz [3]. |
