Societe des tramways est-ouest et extensions Armee de construction : 1908 Armee de declassement : 1954 Constructeur : Maschinen Fabrik Augsburg-Nurnberg AG (MAN) Moteur : GE 57 ; 2 x 50 CV Nombre de places : 20 (assises) - 24 (debout) Cette motrice a principalement circule sur Ia ligne de Fleron. Construite en 1908 par Ia firme allemande MAN, on Ia surnomme « motrice Nuremberg ». Sa longue silhouette carenee, caractOristique plutot germanique, contraste avec les motrices plus anguleuses qui circulaient habituellement sur le reseau liegeois. La particularite majeure de ce vehicule est ('integration du poste de conduite a l'interieur de I'habitacle, ce qui permet desormais au wattman de travailler dans des conditions beaucoup plus confortables. Durant Ia Seconde Guerre mondiale, cette motrice a assure temporairement Ia liaison entre Liege et Ans. Sa Iongueur et sa robustesse Iui conferant une grande stabilite, elle etait principalement utilisee pour depanner les tramways en difficulte sur la cote de Ans.

La motrice est presentee ici dans sa livree d'origine des Tramways est-ouest. "
