Description

The floats chosen for the Hometown Heroes parade should resonate with New Yorkers as they symbolize the past and future of transit.

Car 1273 of the New York Transit Museum’s Vintage Fleet. Car 1273 has been through two world wars, and now two pandemics, and is proof that even at the lowest moments of this city and the country, the subway is there.
