Description

MTA crews were deployed from Wednesday, January 3, through Friday, January 5, to clear facilities of snow and ice as the winter storm swept through the region. Subways personnel cleared snow and salted platforms, as well as station entrances, sidewalk vents, emergency exits and other Transit operational and employee facilities.

This photo shows signal maintainers clearing switches at Coney Island-Stillwell Terminal.
