Description	English: PORT ARTHUR, Texas - Petty Officer 3rd Class Matt Valzania, a boatswain's mate for Marine Safety Unit Port Arthur, stands ready on the bow of a 25-foot Response Boat-Small while manning an M249 squad automatic weapon during training exercise in the Sabine-Nechese waterway, Aug. 10, 2011. Coast Guard MSU Port Arthur was selected to receive the National Defense Transportation Association Military Unit Award, Sept. 12, 2011 in Phoenix, Ariz. for their protection of a strategic and nationally significant petrochemical port complex that includes two Strategic Ports of Embarkation, two liquefied natural gas facilities and two of the nation's five Strategic Petroleum Reserves.U.S. Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Richard Brahm.
