Fotografia post mortem przedstawiajaca kobietę w czarnej sukni z martwym dzieckiem, leżącym na białej powłoczce ułożonej na wzorzystym kocu. Brak informacji o zakładzie, w którym wykonano zdjęcie. Na awersie, pod fotografią odręczna adnotacja „1901 Otylia Januszewska z synem Aleksandrem”. Taki zapis może wskazywać w którym roku wykonane został zdjęcie. Na rewersie nieczytelna pieczęć tuszowa. Wykonywanie zdjęć rodzinnych z e zmarłymi lub samym zmarłym było popularne w 2. poł. XIX w. i na pocz. XX w. Ludzie, a zwłaszcza dzieci w tamtych czasach umierali bardzo często. Rodziny, które nie zdążyły sfotografować swoich bliskich za życia, robiły to po ich śmierci, ale tak by zmarli wyglądali na żywych. Niekiedy w atelier domalowywano źrenice na zamkniętych powiekach, do rąk wkładano kwiaty, książki czy zabawki. Nie był to brak szacunku a właśnie wyraz miłości i przywiązania. Później takie fotografie noszono przy sobie w postaci medalionów czy carte de visite.
